Failing head gasket, transmission won’t shift

Jesse B asks: I have a 1992 Toyota pickup truck with a failing head gasket, what do you recommend ? I also have a 2008 Chevy Tahoe transmission that won’t shift past second gear, any fix for that?

Hi Jesse, I think we can help with both.  Our (Transmission) Tune Up applied directly into the transmission thru the dipstick hole is your best chance of fixing that shifting problem.  Instructions are at motorpurr.com or on the bottle. You could have aging diaphragms or seals that have stopped the shifting.

Our Metallic Seal Up is your best chance to save your head gasket. If it isn't already totally blown, our chances are even better to make it work.
