OIL BURNING

These deposits that can cause Oil Burning form in, and cleaning is applied to, 3 general areas of your engine--1. fuel system (cleaned by our Injector Cleaner in the fuel tank--very easy), 2. crankcase (cleaned by our Tune Up--easy), and 3. air intake / exhaust (cleaned by our Tune Up plus IV Tube--not difficult).

  • Piston Rings (oil control and compression): Carbon sludge buildup seizes the rings and allowing oil past into the combustion chamber. Area 2 crankcase

  • PCV Valve & Passages: Carbon clogs the valve open, pulling oil vapor directly into the intake. Area 2 crankcase

  • Valve Stem Seals / Guides: Carbon buildup on valve stems abrades seals, letting oil leak into cylinders. Seals often shrink due to aging. Area 2 crankcase

  • Piston Oil Drain-Back Holes: Clogged return holes behind oil rings force oil into the combustion chamber instead of draining to the oil pan. Area 2 crankcase
