MISFIRE

These Misfire deposits form in (and cleaning can be applied to), 3 general areas of your engine--1. fuel system (cleaned by our Injector Cleaner in the fuel tank--very easy), 2. crankcase (cleaned by our Tune Up--easy), and 3. air intake / exhaust (cleaned by our Tune Up plus IV Tube--not difficult).

  • Spark Plugs: Deposit fouling prevents proper spark generation. Area 1 fuel tank

  • Fuel Injectors: Clogged spray nozzles prevent proper fuel delivery to the cylinder. Area 1 fuel tank

  • Combustion Chamber: Hot spots formed by soot deposits trigger pre-ignition. Area 2 crankcase

  • Exhaust/Intake Valves: Carbon buildup on valve seats prevents complete sealing, causing loss of compression. Area 3 air intake / exhaust (Gasoline engines only with our iv tube)

  • EGR Valve: Stuck-open valve recirculates excessive exhaust gas, suffocating combustion in specific cylinders. Area 3 air intake / exhaust (Gasoline engines only with our iv tube)
