HESITATION

These Hesitation deposits form in, and cleaning can be applied to, 3 general areas of your engine--1. fuel system (cleaned by our Injector Cleaner in the fuel tank--very easy), 2. crankcase (cleaned by our Tune Up--easy), and 3. air intake / exhaust (cleaned by our Tune Up plus IV Tube--not difficult).

  • Fuel Injectors: Impaired fuel delivery delays response during acceleration. Area 1 fuel tank

  • Intake Valves and Air Intake Ports: Carbon absorbs fuel during sudden acceleration (fuel wall-wetting). Area 3 air intake / exhaust (Gasoline engines only with our iv tube)

  • Throttle Body: Sticky throttle plate delays airflow response. Area 3 air intake / exhaust (Gasoline engines only with our iv tube)

  • EGR Valve: Slow-moving or stuck valve causes momentary air-fuel mixture imbalance. Area 3 air intake / exhaust (Gasoline engines only with our iv tube)

  • Spark Plugs: Deposit-fouled plugs struggle to ignite richer air-fuel mixtures during heavy throttle application. Area 1 fuel tank

  • VVT and Cam Position Solenoids: Oil sludge clogs solenoid screens and passageways, throws off timing. And timing is everything! Clean the Screen! Area 2 crankcase

  • Cam Phaser: Oil sludge clogs phaser mechanism, stops it from ‘home position’ at shutdown, causes startup rattle noise, throws off timing. Area 2 crankcase
